Hope to Home sources, warehouses, repairs & provides basic home furnishings to individuals & families in our community who are coming out of distressed situations & striving toward a new life on purpose. We collect new & “gently used”, donated home goods & work with community service agencies to get those goods into the hands of those who need them most, at no cost to the recipient.

The mission of Halos is to promote safe & nurturing homes for children in kinship care. Kids in kinship care have nearly half the risk of behavioral & social problems of children in foster care. Kinship caregivers face emotional & financial challenges when they take a child in. ​Kinship care helps children maintain familial & community bonds, provides stability, & gives them a feeling of identity & belonging.

The Formation Project goes above & beyond to help those who have been sex trafficked. They are working to build a community that is led by survivors for survivors. They believe in making a positive & permanent impact in the lives of survivors by ensuring access to sustainable services & ensuring that everyone has access to resources & relationships to find freedom, healing, & community.

Rebuilding Every Community Around Peace (RECAP) is a faith-based approach to reducing violence within the North Charleston community. This approach focuses on working with faith groups, laypersons, & city officials to end violence. This is not a simple approach, but an approach of love to reconnect the community with the police & the community. To end hostility & rebuild respect & trust.

Bundles of Joy is a diaper bank established in the low country to assist those in need of diapers. In Charleston, close to 20% of people are living in poverty. They are working hard to make ends meet & will struggle to purchase diapers & other necessities for their children. The goal of Bundles of Joy is to assist those in need of diapers & other necessities directly through their organization & through designated partner organizations.

Abba Ministries is a 501(c)3 organization with bases throughout the Southeast & headquartered in Charleston, South Carolina. Each Abba Ministries base strives to provide atmospheres of restoration & family for the homeless, poverty stricken, addicted, & oppressed. This happens through strategic partnerships & special events that seeks to serve the community by meeting tangible needs.

The mission of Charleston Hope is to enhance school culture & climate in high-poverty Title 1 schools by building on the strengths of students, teachers, & leaders. They are present in partnered schools daily to help facilitate an environment where students & teachers feel supported, connected, & successful. The work they do is to create space to collaborate with schools, listen to teachers, & implement specific programs.

The mission of Turn90 is to working with men at the highest risk of re-arrest by combining cognitive behavioral classes, case management, transitional work, & job placement to create an opportunity for success after prison where one doesn’t currently exist. Turn90 provides the community with a Print Shop to provide full service, screen printing business, ready to create custom merchandise that supports the work of the men they serve.

Closet of Hope exists to support children in foster care. In so doing, they intentionally serve & support biological & foster families, as well. Share what you have, love one another, & inspire a community. Whether it's picking up donations from drop off locations, sorting sizes of clothing or hosting a diaper & wipe drive, our volunteers make a huge impact on our effort to help foster, kinship, & adoptive families in need.

SOUL exists to empower new moms, one SOUL at a time, to be a sanctuary for their children.​ The mission of SOUL is to create a safe haven that provides emotional support & spiritual encouragement, as well as, life management counseling, career skills, & financial assistance for expectant mothers. They provide faith-based peer support groups, mentoring classes, & care closets to help meet the individual needs of moms in our community.

As a Christian foster care agency, we have provided hope & stability to more than 250,000 children & families in crisis.

The Executive Pastors, Justin & Blakeley Hydrick, served faithfully on our staff at Awaken Church in multiple capacities before moving upstate to join the team in planting The Hertiage Co. In 2020, Chris & Jeslyn Lanier moved to Castle Rock, CO to plant Meadows Church. The Laniers were on the planting team of Awaken Church as we launched in January of 2013. Chris served in a variety of pastoral positions to help faithfully build the first 7 years of our church. After moving across the country to start a new church, they have seen their vision to reach their neighbors & community as they follow Jesus together to make disciples of Jesus through relationships come alive.
